TOM – HTMK 13: Pha Long – Muong Khuong Hill Tribe Markets( 2 days and 1 night)

Day 1 Saturday(BLD): Departing early from Lao Cai or Sa Pa you will enjoy beautiful scenery and visit Pha Long markets. Very rural seldom visited market, where you can meet ethnic groups that are only found in this particular district of Viet Nam, mostly Hmong, Nung, Tu Di, Pa Di. Along the road, in a landscape of mountain peaks, numerous Nung et Hmong villages. Lots of traditional houses with baked earth tiled roofs. After exploring these markets your car will take you back to Muong Khuong check in to TOM s’ still house. In the afternoon you will visit Ham Rong cave,Pao Tung waterfall. Enjoy dinner at the TOM Bar and overnight in Muong Khuong.

Day 2 Sunday(BL):  After breakfast you will explore early market. Muong Khuong is an exotic market, located in a small border town. The market is frequented by Tu Di, Pa Di, Flower H’mong and Dao ethnic minorities. After visiting the market you will have lunch in the local restaurant. You will then visit Ta Chu Phung village of Pa Di minority people. From here you enjoy panorama of Muong Khuong town  ,Si Ma Cai town and surrounding villages. Late noon you will get back to Lao Cai station to catch the night train back to Hanoi.
