TOM - MB 1: Sa Pa - Binh Lu(full day

(One day trip)
 

After breakfast. Start ride uphill from Sa Pa to Heaven's Gate(15 kms), if you can not ride uphill your support car will transfer you to the starting point at the Silver Waterfall. A 3km climb  over the stunning Tram Ton Pass (the highest in Indochina at 2047 M above the sea level ) provides great views of the Hoang Lien national park before a free-wheeling 30km (2hrs) glide to Binh Lu town (If you arrive in Binh Lu on a Thursday or Sunday morning, you can choose to save some time by taking the car to the top of the Pass, before gliding down to visit the Binh Lu Market). Binh Lu area is dotted with the villages of many hill tribes including Thai,Dzao,Red H’Mong,Lu,Dzay. Lunch in local restaurant . After lunch, cycle 7km to visit a Thai village and explore the Fairy Mountain Cave before meeting your support car for a drive back up over the pass to Sa Pa.
